It is still where the LA basin goes to choose an outfit in person, for banquet hall receptions, hotel ballroom sangeets and temple hall functions. We work the other way round. Every Rashmi Kumari piece is hand embellished to order in our UAE atelier once you place it, then flown to your door. How long does it take to receive my order in Artesia?
Every piece is hand-made to order, which takes 4 to 6 weeks in our UAE atelier. After dispatch, tracked express courier to Artesia and the wider Los Angeles area takes 3 to 5 business days. Tracking is sent the moment your piece leaves the atelier.
When should I order for my event?
Order 8 to 10 weeks ahead of the date. That covers the 4 to 6 week make time, transit, and a margin for any adjustment you want once the piece is with you. If your function falls sooner, message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
Can I customize my piece?
Yes, and we encourage it. Every piece is made to order, so sizing, blouse style, sleeve length and drape can all be adjusted to you. Tell our WhatsApp concierge what you have in mind and we will confirm what is possible before you pay.
Why order online when Pioneer Boulevard is ten minutes away?
For a different reason, not a cheaper one. A shop sells you what it already has in your size. We take your measurements first and then begin the piece, hand embellishing it over 4 to 6 weeks in our own atelier. Many customers do both: jewellery and accessories locally, the outfit made for them.
